Switzerland must chose its options carefully, as of now one wonders whether it is transitioning from a peaceful neutral state to a terror sponsoring state? Hopefully not! . Regretfully, it frequently behaves in a manner as if it has no respect and regard for principles governing inter-state relations and UN Charter. It beams out such signals by allowing its banks to attract ill-gotten money from across the world and now it also hosts and prompts terrorists. Stance taken by the Swiss government in response to Pakistan’s protest is against the basic spirit of neutrality. Committing hostile acts against a sovereign member state of the UN by sponsoring and facilitating separatist elements that encourages them to commit subversion and claiming neutrality can’t go together.

And whenever decision is against Indian grandstanding on the issue, it flouts such decisions with impunity. India is flouting over a dozen UNSC resolutions on Kashmir, and is struggling to erode the letter and spirit of Indus Water Treaty brokered by the World Bank. Now India is poised to follow the same trajectory in case of it's spy Indian Navy Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav.

UNSC needs to intervene to nullify Myanmar’s 2008 legislation that deprives Rohingya population of its citizenship rights; post a UN Peace Enforcement Contingent to create a buffer zone between Rakhine state and rest of Myanmar; declare Rakhine state as “Autonomous Rohingya Zone”; and set a future date—at least after a decade—to hold a UN supervised referendum in Rakhine to determine whether Rohingya populations wants to retain Autonomous status within Myanmar or become an independent republic. Whenever former suffer Indian State plays a game of forming COMISSIONS-COMMISSIONSto ensure that the heinous crimes against minorities and Dalits disappear from the public memory. In this regard the 1992-93 Bombay violence can be an interesting case for study. But if violence is believed to be perpetrated by minorities/Dalits, the punishment is instant. This latest judgmentensures punishment for January 1993 perpetrators but despite Justice BN Srikrishna Commission Report holding almost all Hindutva organizations responsible for killings of minority people in December 1992, the indicted perpetrators were not even questioned what to talk of arresting them.
